An OBGYN in White Rock is looking for a reliable MOA to run a two-specialist practice, in cooperation with another experienced moa. Training on specific office processes like instrument processing will be provided. Ideally, you would have worked in a medical office before, you are a reliable and quick learner with an eye for detail. You are comfortable with the processes in a medical office and you are able to provide empathetic patient care.
Maintaining electronic patient files (uploading letters and results)
Answering / triaging patient phone calls
Maintenance of patient confidentiality
May need to explain investigations and test preparation (simple terms)
Efficient use of an EMR, preferably Accuro - Training will be provided
This position requires an efficient, well-organized, individual with good attention to detail and strong communication skills. It is important is that the candidate is reliable, willing to learn, and a good team member. The completion of a Medical Office Assistant Program from a recognized institution, or direct long-term experience as an MOA, is mandatory. An intermediate-level ability in computer systems is an advantage.

?Looking for a commitment of one year, with a possible extension in this friendly female surgeon-run clinic. Full-time hours (32-40/week) with some Scheduling flexibility expected based on hospital OR schedule. The office will be moving to a brand new expanded clinic site in a new building mid-year beside Peace Arch hospital from the current Grandview business center site.
