Job Summary
An? MOA is required for a Surgical Office near the Langley Memorial Hospital. The successful candidate is expected to serve as the primary point of contact with all patients, referring offices, and medical professionals. He/she will work in close collaboration with the surgeons to promote the growth and ongoing success of the practice.

Location: Langley, BC

Type: 6-month contract, Full Time, Monday to Friday

Availability: As soon as practical

MOA Duties:

Ensure physician's productivity by maintaining a clinical calendar & scheduling all patient appointments
Maintaining up to date electronic patient records – experience and skill with Accuro is an asset
Document scanning and filing into the EMR - Accuro
Filing and responding to incoming electronic faxes, which includes test results, referral letters, pharmacy communications, etc.
Timely return of phone calls with appropriate documentation.
Flexibility to change schedules when required.
Maintaining good working relationships with referring office medical office assistants.
Coordinating patient referrals to other specialists.
Thorough, accurate, and up-to-date billing.

Salary: Commensurate with experience, education, and tasks undertaken

Requirements: MOA certification or equivalent

Previous experience working in a specialist office is preferred

Summary of Position:

Surgical practice, where the patients are the focus.

Full Time: 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday.

Language: English (required), and any other languages are an asset.

Salary: Based on experience.
